I finished reading the book and this movie adaptation is somehow hard to watch. I haven't finished the movie yet. I am so close to the end tho. Its just that everything felt so rushed. And the point of the story is being jumbled all throughout. We don't have decca, their mom is not home. Where is Ryan? And just the plot is so messy . But I'm still gonna finish watching this I just need a breather. But damn. The book was waaaayyyyy better.

Watched this film because it was recommended by my special someone. I knew right away that I have to see it. Oh the amount of tears that I let out because of the story. She's also suffering from mental illness because of the things that happened to her during childhood. She is ignoring me rn, removed me from ig. I am staying silent and praying for her safety, happiness, growth and healing. I pray she thrives in life. I pray she breaks free from her emotional pain. I am looking forward on seeing you. I love you, MGTB. I have much to do and you my darling even more. ???

Instead of watching the movie, I thought it would be a great idea to read the book first before watching it. I thought it would make the movie better. It's been months and I haven't watched the movie yet because I'm broken from the book. I was so angry with Finch for what he did. I cried and mourned for him bc I fell in love with him as Violet did. That scene with her finding his clothes by the lake devastated me. I was with Violet in those moments as she was looking for him, hoping he would appear and be okay. That they would figure everything out but it didn't. I didn't get out of bed for the whole day after that scene. But underneath all of that anger, hurt and sadness, I also understood. I knew he was hurting and that fact hurt even more because no one could make it better. The one thing that made it all better and was kind of healing was Violet following Finch's footsteps afterwards and looking for him in different places. I loved it as it gave readers a closing and time to accept the events that happened. I really hope the movie followed the book in the important aspects.

They didn't have to do Finch like that :( making him feel bad for doing what most people would do,like how would people react if they were called a the blame goes back to him; saying that he was don't realize how words can be twisted especially if you don't witness by eye or know the whole deserves better !This movie was great but sad for the character Finch.

When i read the book i thought it was gonna end in a good way it shocked me when finch did that!
