Just seen the movie with my mum, and we both loved it, I would watch it again and again, a good tear jerker as well. We need more parents like this. Congrats to the team on an awsum movie, I hope the Williams family are very happy with the outcome.

I had a friend whose father trained his kid in football (germany) every single day ever since that kid was 5 or so. Guess that, that Kid did NOT make it in football. Only made it to 5th League where you can barely pay rent etc. So I'm not sure if it's so heroic to raise a child as a trooper to be your million dollar success child. But of course survivorship bias lets you think that the Dad did nothing wrong.

Really, rain in LA? What a big they act like they had to shovel snow, deal with wind, humidity, hurricanes and tornados. It's Los Angeles HELLO! I cried twice during this movie on my birthday making 30 years old. The part when he told Venus you going to be representing every little black girl on earth. It’s like he was the only one that knew how that will change the world FOREVER. And that comes with a lot of pressure of during everything RIGHT. 2nd time I cried is when he told Serena “Can I tell you a secret? Venus will be #1 in the whole world. But you’re going to be the BEST THAT EVER WAS, you’re going to be the GREATEST OF ALL TIME. I kept you in shadow because I knew you was rough and tough. That’s why I did this whole thing like this. I planned it.” Reason why I cried is because, man this life it’s not a lot of people who actually know things like that unless they believe in God and actually go through the process. He the only one that knew it. So for him to call everything and it happened exactly like he planned let’s everybody know that anything is possible and you can accomplish ALOT in life if you just believe, stay focus, and never give up.

My favourite part of Serena’s career was when she threatened to kill a lineswoman and called an umpire sexist, hope that’s in the film. Good thing she’s had the greatest career of all time imagine the outbreaks if she lost more.
