Bộ phim được chuyển thể dựa trên cuốn tiểu thuyết kinh dị giả tưởng khét tiếng cùng tên năm 1980 của Stephen King, theo chân gia đình Andy McGee, sau khi được thí nghiệm bởi tổ chức bí mật của chính phủ, cô con gái Charlie McGee đã bất ngờ sở hữu một sức mạnh “siêu nhiên” từ lửa. Và họ phải tìm mọi cách để bảo vệ cô bé trước những toan tính và âm mưu của tổ chức đó.

The way they set up all these scares is genuinely terrifying and that’s not something we see in a lot of modern horror films. The ending scene alone has me excited for this.
