Im grateful to the producers of this film. Now everyone in the world will have a small peek of what Japan is authentically like in a lot of parts but are not shown for some Also the movie had a real true ending. Something that would really happen in the real world and thats the part that hit me most ?

This film broke my heart in pieces. Yes it is a masterpiece. The last shot of little Yuri back at her disfunctional home playing, then looking off into the distance-obviously thinking about her recent 'adopted' family that took her in and showed her real love-really affected me. It's heart wrenching. Also take a look at 'A Brand New Life', and 'Breathless'. Both from South Korea and brilliant films also.

If you loved this movie. You should watch over Kure-eda (the director) movies .I prefer "Still Walking" (2008).. And specially "Nobody Knows" (2004). Probably his masterpiece, It's insanly good !I love Hirokazu Kore-eda movies so much.

Hirokazu Kore-eda's movies are like warm hungs untill they punch you in the gut. I highly recommend checking out his other movies too. He has made so many beautiful & unconventional family dramas.

Roma was very i just dont understand why it won the Oscar over was a POWERFUL FILM (most commercially successful film oit of all the noms) and a severe wake up call to all of Asia regarding the great divide between classes. Its doesnt need an #39;s got the Palme d' can beat that.

To be fuckin honest this movie deserved oscar than Parasite. Parasite has same vibe with this one. Yeah unluckily Shoplifters didn't win. No matter how masterpiece and great movie is. Oscar Winner title is nothing now.

Just finished it. Pretty good, but lacked an overeaching narrative. Felt more like collection of ministories.IMO parasite is much better and tackels simalar themes.

This movie is the best and HOLY SHIT I AM IN TEARS. It's beautiful, amazing, and FUCKS WITH YOUR EMOTIONS. Bawling my eyes out rn and don't regret it. A wonderful film 10/10 would recommend. (You can watch it on Netflix Canada)
