They did a documentary back in the 1980s called the Chicago 8 on HBO. I watch that documentary. And then as now it's stirred up feelings, and not good ones. I've always known my whole life from the time I was old enough to understand power and money and the people that wield it not only don't Care About Us , and by us I mean the population of this country. The citizens if you will, but detest us . They feel that they are better than somehow think of us as dirty, repulsive, repugnant. They feel that we are stupid because we are not powerful and Wealthy. That somehow we should pull ourselves up by our bootstraps, and do better. But I say it is hard to pull yourself up by your bootstraps and do better when someone has their foot on your neck, and their hands in your pockets. And they can control what you do and what you say and where you go, so that they can maintain their power and their privilege. But I feel that America is waking up. The Sleeping giant is now aware of the privileged white ruling class. And is aware of their agenda. Social media has made more people in tune to what is going on. They can't muzzle it like they can the conventional news they can't twist it and spin it and bend it to their will. Change is needed in this country, we're too busy being divided amongst ourselves to pay attention to what's going on above us. And that's the way they want it. One hand doesn't know what the other is doing. But I think in my lifetime that I will see the end of this. And there will be great change in this country like there was back in the 1960s. I just hope that I live long enough to see it. I hope that the generations beneath me are able to instill that change, I pray for them and their abilitie to do so. I think that it would help them greatly the younger generation to read Noam chomsky's books or listen to his talks on YouTube.

They expect their 50+ audience to forget that these are the same people that cursed and spat on American soldiers returning from Vietnam, (as those who watched Forrest Gump will know)? Yet they recite the names of American KIAs in court, as though they care. The hippie movement was and remains to this day an absolutely disgusting movement of crypto-communist degenerates. And if you wonder where the modern day political left comes from, now you know. Expected nothing less from Netflix and the jokers on Rotten Tomatoes who reviewed this filthy historical revisionist propaganda.

Sorry but SBC’s presence alone completely ruins this. Aside from the fact that he doesn’t look anything like Abbie Hoffman.
