The Book is set in the early 70’s and is an origin story for Mr. Clark. This is insulting to Black Authors and actors that think they have to piggy back on the success of already established characters and franchises. The Author should be confident to write an original store based on the same concept as Tom Clancy’s, because this will probably be a well executed and acted movie, but the only thing it will have in common with the book is a general outline of the Story anyways.

I love this book. It's my favorite Tom Clancy novel. I was super excited about them making it. Until I found out it has absolutely nothing to do with the book except them name. Now I will watch it because I'm a fan of Michael B Jordan. But I'm very disappointed that they are taking a perfect novel with a amazing story and ruining it.

I encourage anyone who plans to see this movie to just read the book. The story is in Clancy’s top the best. Clark is a beast is his prime. A broken man, unexpectedly made whole then sudden broken again. The man went out and made his pain many. Incredible detail and character development. Hollywood has this great novel on the butcher block. Ugh.

Hands down my favorite Tom Clancy novel. It is an epic story of revenge, and it seems that Hollywood has managed to destroy it.

Read some info about the movie. The film is not going to be anything like the the book. It’s states he out for revenge on his wife’s killer along with other very obvious differences. I hope for action movie fans this is good. As for Tom Clancy fans is will more than likely be a huge disappointment.

Why didn't they just make they're own story? Why are these Hollywood people using Clancy's name and his characters names but changing most everything else about their stories? It's not just Clancy's work of course. It's all over the place these days. It's disrespectful to the creators, and ruins it for the fans. Just make your own story for fucks sake.
